Do you think that the current shooting test for the DSC1 qualification is suitable or sufficient?

Just finished my DSC1 last week, you don't need to shoot from a high seat
It's 2 shots prone at 100m, 2 shots standing off sticks/kneeling at 70m, then 2 headshots between 10m and 20m.

Yes that’s what mine consisted of , prone , sticks and sticks ! 100/70/20 metres there is no high seat shooting

At some locations the 100m is prone or from a simulated high seat very few ranges offer this but some do.

Simulated High Seat is sometimes used as a ‘reasonable adjustment’ if a candidate has an injury or disability preventing them assuming the prone position. It works well in this situation as long as the candidate informs the Training Provider beforehand that it will be required.
