Those of you that, at present are using a 243 for foxing, will you continue to use it with copper ammo?
Or, will you go to something else like a 22.250 or 204 where lead will still be allowed?

There will be plenty of choice in 3 years once the ban is in place.
RWS have a non toxic in .243 I saw somewhere?

Correct- other than target bullets.

Until someone gets caught using target bullets for deer, then we’re all (target shooters) shafted!
Are there, at the moment, any lightish 243 copper rounds that expand like lead do? There's nothing worse than hearing the smack of the hit and watching the fox run off.

I use an 80 Fox bullet in my 243 on deer. If a fox steps out I have absolutely no doubt that it will be dispatched with the same bullet no problem at all.

I have shot several foxes with my 7x57 using a 130gn Fox bullet. They have all died on the spot. I expect a lighter and faster 80gn will have the exact same result. Possibly will even cause more damage, but dead is dead.

There a few experience fox shooters having considerable success using Hornady 35 grain NTX bullets.
No need to go big.
Ken.
