New DNT Zulus V2

For the last couple of months I have been testing DNT's new Zulus scopes.

DNT have taken the improvements made to the TNC range and merged them with the Zulus to produce the ZHD520R V2 and ZHD312R V2.

The new features on the Zulus are larger and brighter screen. Throw lever for zoom, onboard memory and not forgetting the 21700 for extra battery life along with the larger IR module.

The new versions of the Zulus go on sale on the 2nd of July.

I have to say the original Zulus is great but the improvements in the V2 versions takes it a stage further.

Here is a link to DNT's website for news on the new Zulus V2.

Pre-orders going live on the 30th of June.

They've got rid of the picatinni rail and little sd memory card, put a fatter battery in and changed the layout of the buttons, that's it unless i've missed something.
I don't use wi-fi. I use a card reader to view photos. I use the Pic rail for an IR torch that minimises pixelation and allows me to shoot out to 300yds.
Looks like I'm sticking with the V1.

Along with GPC Bill I've also been testing the Zulus V2 over the last couple of months and you already have a Zulus V1 then you're unlikely to need to upgrade to the V2 (same sensor and objective lens)
If you don't already have a Zulus V1 then going straight to the V2 is probably the right thing to do
The bigger battery, bigger IR, bigger display and better zoom lever tips the balance for me

Are many people that are out shooting in daytime mostly using as a main daytime scope ?
D
As above mine is permanently on .223 T3 since law changed for using electrical optical devices in Scotland.... I use for roe fox rabbit crows all in one package and at last light it turns near dark into light in day mode
Deal with carcass then flask of coffee and a sandwich then same rig NV mode with onboard IR vcsel your foxing

As long as V2 is still a VCSEL IR

No, it's simply informing people about a new product who may not already have heard of it and allow them to ind out more about it - ther'es no sales pitch
You can clearly see rom the responses that only you think that way

But I can understand why others think it’s a sales pitch specially as you , Bill and Russ are involved with DNT

I sell nothing for DNT and amt paid in any way by them (neither are Russ and Billy)
We like their products (like many other people) and supply feedback on them to try to improve them
Our experience is that DNT is much more likely to listen and act upon user feedback than other companies like HIK and Pulsar so we continue to provide it
I don't see much wrong with having the ear of a manufacturer willing to listen to feal world users and trying to improve their products accordingly

I didn’t say you sell or get paid by DNT , but all three of you do push DNT probably a little to much , since you jumped ship from pard .
Some might question your motives, that’s all 👍🏻

Obviously you are entitled to your opinion, but io would argue with you about pushing DNT too much and also about jumping ship from PARD
Russ and I simply try to keep up with what's happening on the Night Vision scene, look for good products (and not so good products) so that when something good comes along we can tell people who don't know what's happening in that area so we can explain the benefits (and pifalls) of a particular piece of kit and maybe save them some hassle and money

Chers
