Picked these up in Walmart $120 while on holiday. Seemed a decent deal.

First set of cellular cameras. If anyone has any recommendations for batteries usage etc it would be appreciated.

Be aware they may not work over here - the US ones are set up for a US carrier. I've ordered cheap Spypoint ones through amazon.com that have come from the states and they wouldn't connect. I think the UK versions are set up to use the O2 network.

Sadly, as per others posts above, the US ones don't work over here. It's not only the SIM but the circuitry inside that does the cellular is on different frequencies. I found out the hard way after buying one off here.................... :banghead:

I’ll test them out and see. While buying them some said connection to all national carriers and some said international carriers.

So I went international so that what I went with. Hopefully it works out.

If not silly me.

Let us know how you get on as I might be stocking up when I'm next over there if it works out ok! 🤞

I sure will, I’ve emailed them also and they’ve send me back the following picture. Going to mess around with them and see.

But as you say could be specific hardware so I don’t know yet.

Just following up on the trail and as say they US spypoint do not work outside of the US.

However, after a lot of back and forth they arranged for me to swap them with an Irish dealer. They only reason being is the are boxed in an international box and not a US box.

That’s what I argued. So if anyone is considering purchasing trail cams in the us make sure the SIM card can be changed like in the Zeiss.
