Used mine to 160 on my .222 with a Blade Dark engine. Worked fine. Compared to my old A50, image not vastly different.....smaller......but useable.
Swapping across sub12 air, FAC Air, LR, and .222.
Only thing I wonder is what the smaller sensor will be like on a cold, misty wet January night......as opposed to clear, warm still July nights......at least I'll have an excuse to pack up and go home rather than just because it's cold and wet.
Happy with it as an alternative at the moment though.
The first video below, is promoting it as for air rifles......but then shows imges out past 100 and more.
Bear in mind, video isn't as good as what you see on the screen. And yes it's daytime.......but illustrates what you can do with a decent light source at night....footage starts around 6.45.
......and another advert for it showing its last light capabilities.......
Personally, I think its 'only for airguns' is a marketing line that Hik are pushing to make sure they aren't left with loads of the bigger versions on the shelves and need to heavily discount.....
The Original Alpex 4K is a better night vision scope... Daytime there's not much in it...
