This you can buy from Bill at DPT. I have a set of the MK2 ones that could be lent. There are clamps available for tight ones, different sizes for mark1 and mark2, I think. Need to be tightened, put on the floor and trod on!
Hi
Any advice on removing the baffles without causing any damage.
I can remove all but one.
Not on the muzzle can. Can't speak of the over barrel version. You wont remove the first baffle its fixed.

You wont remove the first one on the over barrel, it has the threaded section so its fixed in the factory. It is the over barrel one and first baffle I can't remove.
I wouldn't bother trying to take it to bits, just leave as is. Sometimes the O rings dont go back as they were so you end up worse of than when you started!Hi

If you have been dismantling it, you will know that all you can see inside the base is the barrel thread. My first baffle is the stainless one.I've been talking it apart for three years and it goes back just fine![]()
Never found the need to dismantle a mod, they work perfectly fine if left alone, infact, they're often alot quieter if left alone. Last one i had was 15yr old and never cleaned once.I've been talking it apart for three years and it goes back just fine![]()
I don't bother taking my centrefire mods apart for cleaning anymore either. They don't really get that dirty.Never found the need to dismantle a mod, they work perfectly fine if left alone, infact, they're often alot quieter if left alone. Last one i had was 15yr old and never cleaned once.
The first baffle after the thread is not removable. Hose clips with a bit of tyre tube inside will do the job but there are purpose made clamps for the jobHi
