I've just ordered a plate using the Temu app'.

Somehow, I've also ended up buying a fluffy pink reversible dressing gown (for the wife, I hasten to add) a magnetic car cover, and model of a jet turbine engine.

I have no idea how any of the above happened

Further update on Temu’s offers…
Flushed with the success of their Hardox plate which took everything I threw at it including .308 125gns Prohunters trundling along at just south of 3,000 fps I decided to make a frame to hold said plate and a few smaller ones I had lying about.
A quick perusal of Temu revealed this idea…

So I ordered it - note this does not include the frame rather just the two corner bits and four hooks. Upon arrival it looked pretty sound so I went to Screwfix and bought two 3m lengths of 25mm steel conduit and cut to length to suit three or four targets of varying sizes; then this a.m. off to my nearest farm to try it with the .222. Blow me down it worked perfectly - rock solid!

Yet to try it with the heavier stuff but so far for an outlay short of £40 I am impressed. Of course anyone with access to used steel conduit or possibly even box section could do it for a lot less…..

Bought the same including the tube from Screwfix - thank you Chopped the tube on Friday, added a few feet from eBay and loaded it in the car to try at the Range Saturday - range cancelled due to wet/windy FFS

Really need the Hik Alpex zero'd on my .308 S20 for Wednesday evening's DMQ Night Shooting test - hoping to get light, thermal (both off the .270) and NV off the .308. What's the betting my range (Wales) will cancel my last chance range slot on Wednesday morning

Good job - add a jubilee clip to each end of the top bar - it stops the little angled brackets falling off…..

Had a wee play this afternoon. Range was 300 metres. I don't usually shoot out this far, so I was looking forward to seeing how I got on

And a couple more. Wind was a bit hit or miss (literally), so I suspect most of my misses were to the left. I was happy enough to leave it at that. I get very bored, very quickly shooting at anything I can't eat
