Moderators coming off ticket

It wont be applied until they can tag it onto a new piece of legislation. There wont be a separate one just for moderators.
So it could be 6 months a year or 5 years who knows.

It was added to the Crime and Policing Bill as an amendment and considered last week. Looks like the gov will bring forward their own amendment to get this done at the next stage of the bill. Countryside Alliance seem to have picked up the ball on this one and got it added to this bill - they had a news story on it last week link. Looks like next stage of the bill is in Jan, so might be happening fairly soon.

Thats sounds positive . Cheers for that i didnt know that 👍👍

This is scheduled immediately after they’ve smashed the gangs, grown the economy, made the public services more efficient and illegal immigration a thing of the past.

Or was it after they’ve smashed the economy, grown the gangs, made the public services a thing of the past and illegal immigration more efficient 🤔

I personally think you’ll be waiting for a very very long time for this to come to fruition!
If. Big if. It ever gets done it will be done at the same time as other amendments to the fire arms act. Non of which will be good news for shooters.

It might get done at the same time as the changes to shotgun licensing that are inevitably coming.

The only potential escape from this I can see is that it doesn't happen before the next general election which Liebour seem unlikely to win.

One thing I’ve realised over the years is, don’t get excited over any reported changes in firearms licensing!

It’s at the bottom of the list to get done, that’s IF it gets done, like the saying goes “I’ve heard ducks fart before!”

My advice is carry on, don’t get excited and things take as long as it takes, just like applications, variations and renewals.
