Breathable face covering

After something warm but won't make my face wet (yeah, yeah got my Mrs for that, chortle!)

Tried a couple that claim to be breathable but same issue. Do the merino ones solve this?

Merino ones are much better & if that’s not breathable enough you can get face coverings with mouth vents or holes for higher intensity activities such as skiing.

Pretty sure I’ve got a cold weather hood specifically for mountaineering that has a mesh panel over the mouth area. I’ve never really taken to it or needed it though. Usually use a Buff

Got holes in my sealskinz one but dont make much difference. Maybe I'm too much of a mouth breather (one for the Stranger Things fans!)

Look for mesh items. I use a 3D hood all year around i.e. winter wind or summer mosquitos. Mine is from www.asat.com but there are others in tactical stores.

Best I’ve found is a Buff Merino tube and a baseball cap allowing the majority of my face to be covered, except my mouth and nose.
