Ludham Village hall. What area of Norfolk is the club, Dave?
Like I said, different clubs have different rules. Ours are 3/8" which I believe is the most common size. The other that I know of is 8mm. There may be others that I am unaware of..354" vs .375"

I am disappointed in the lack of "off hand quarry" stories.Loving all the stories but I was hoping to see the occasional target![]()

Running shots with a rifle I have never been good by me except for a fallow buck once that someone gut shot and was couched up in the field so we waited until nearly dark and approached, it got up and ran for cover and I bowled it over running.I shot a running fox last winter with the .22 Hornet, running away down the farm track, about 40 yards... double tap was needed mind.
Like the Buff shot mine was off hand so in the spirit as the Buff and my hind was a challenge, shot rabbits running with my .22LR foxes with the .243Start a thread then...
