The off hand challenge thread.

In a pub enviroment often 8n the bar in the darts area with lots of people watching.
I recal shooting against the Welsh champion shooter (Dave Smith) in a team knock out. We were last pair to shoot. I shot out of my skin and he dropped one and I think we won the match by .2 or so it was extremely close.
Shooting is very physiological. It took me years to shoot a 35 possible then it became was a regular occurrence. I am not sure if I ever shot a maximum 35.7 always cracked on the last shot.

Flying Jackdaw at about 25 yards - Milbro Hunting Catapult (scourge of anything flying and err….walking) and a ball bearing. Damned thing landed on my neighbour’s roof and squawked endlessly - most embarrassing!
I reckon that was about 1963 and I can still see the bird folding in mid-air - delight immediately followed by “what the hell am I gonna do now?”….

I shot a running fox last winter with the .22 Hornet, running away down the farm track, about 40 yards... double tap was needed mind.

Running shots with a rifle I have never been good by me except for a fallow buck once that someone gut shot and was couched up in the field so we waited until nearly dark and approached, it got up and ran for cover and I bowled it over running.
A couple of lads I knew were naturals at it though.

Can remember my first outing with a cz233 must be 25 years ago now, fox coming in across the moor about 200 yards away, stopped it with a squeak and missed it , I stood up and took a shot at it whilst it was running and bowled it over like you would with a shotgun ...complete fluke mind , think I paced it out at 180 yards
