Hi everyone,
A personal need which I thought to share for wider community use.
Attached is a zeroing target for the BRX1 and Geco Zero ammo in 30-06. I needed flexible zeroing target ranges to prep for an upcoming culling trip so have used two different AI programs to create the attached according to the weapon type and ballistic info from Geco.
I am not (yet) saying this is 100% accurate but when printed check the background grid and if it measures 1cm by 1cm then the scaling will work. Select "Actual Size" on printer options for A4 size paper and it should work (it did for me) and if the scale is off in hard copy then adjust the scaling percentage in printer options until it is measuring 1cm x 1cm in hard copy.
The design and creation of this are mine, there is no copyright and so please use freely.
It should enable accurate Zeroing at the different ranges shown on the target for your groups. I accept that different rifles (even of the same make/model) and certainly different ammo will have different reactions and am not putting myself forward as the zeroing guru.
I will let you know how I get on with the target in a few weeks BUT will always welcome anyone's feedback and suggestions for making the target better for zeroing.
I use a Zeiss 6-12 x 54 scope (which I dont have with me right now) so I believe the colour scheme and size of bulls will work but as I said, yet to prove it and welcome ideas and real life experience if it is helpful to our community.
