They were always pretty good but took a dip last year, when they joined forces with Norfolk. Looks like they are back on track. We can be a whinging bunch but I think it's good to praise when warranted.

Glad you got it back, but in my opinion 3 weeks is pretty poor for a one 4 one. Up to a couple of years ago they used to turn one round in a week
I know, previously, I had one in a week and one in a fortnight but last year it took 4 months - all things considered, I am more than happy with three weeks.

A mate is currently on his extension for fac renewal (from Suffolk), extension expires 8th March from memory - is still awaiting a visit to check gun details etc etc and now complete the additional ballacks of interviewing family members etc
New people/systems……..not being filled with confidence, glad I’ve another couple of years before having to go through again.

Five years ago, I put in for a .22 Hornet, it arrived back six working days later 
... that was Norfolk.
I think things have slowed up considerably since then... It's like walking through treacle with lead boots on.
But good to know things are improving a bit
