Having just got back from a family break at CenterParcs Woburn, it was my first time being properly face to face with a new deer species for me... Muntjac!
I'm East Sussex based, and it's all Fallow and Roe. My shooting buddy sent me a pic from his driveway cam last week, with a munty. Very exciting as he lives right opposite our shooting ground. They're getting closer
Anyway, I digress. Having been there for 5 days, the place was absolutely buzzing with Muntjac. They'd literally walk across the path in front of you.

It struck me that they'd probably never be able to cull with residents on site, mostly with kids. It was also very evident that they were causing a lot of damage. Every tree and Bush had been destroyed at browsing height. Every new tree had a tree guard on it. 2ft high. Pointless. They were up on hind legs destroying every bit of new growth.
Does anyone know if these places have culls?
Just curious really.
