As per title.
After decades of getting ordinary trousers soaked from early morning dew soaked vegetation , common sense has finally prevailed.
Need to be waterproof, light weight comfortable and quiet. No budget.
Thanks in advance
New Forest Nightjar - really comfortable and surprisingly tough. Like anything waterproof, can get a little warm on really hot days but overall they are fantastic trousers.
They’re a little heavy for summer but I’ve worn them in all seasons - Haglofs rugged mountain pant (think they’ve been superseded now). They do lighter pants which have the same DWR water repellent treatment. Usually some good sales on if you go to their website. The trousers are all superb.
Agreed and I don't bother with waterproof in the summer anymore unless it's actually raining, but that was the specific question. I now wear Harkila Ragnar in the summer and just accept they will be a little damp from the dew before it warms up. If it's raining, then the lower temperature means the Pro Hunter Move are pretty much ideal.
