Forgive my ignorance but what flag is that k?
That pretty much sums it up for me too.
Can I ask all those on here in favour of the "Yes" for Independance, where will the money come from for this transition?
Also, those countries that have previously joined the Euro (You, Scotland, can't keep the £ because you're Independant) and gone t*ts up, has anyone considered what lay ahead for an Independant Scotland once they join the Euro? Bit of creative accounting perhaps...

in terms of travel the army is regularly in Kenya, Canada, the US, and Belize is growing again as well as Cyprus to name a few core opportunities. The new adaptive force will deploy into regions to prevent conflict so training missions all over Africa, Asia and the Middle East are in the offing. Not sure what Scotland will contribute there......
MPs will care little over this and I am not convinced MSPs whatever the shade actually have the intellectual capacity to grasp the issues - and this is based on meeting a few. Labour must be a little worried to see constituencies which build potential majorities evaporate, the Tories will smile and plan years of sole or coalition power based on English demographics and boundaries......

Wow, lot of activity on this thread and a whole year to go, I can understand some of the concerns voiced by Scottish members, but what I can't understand is the heated posts from the lads south of the border.
Why would it or should it be of any concern to anyone other than those living in Scotland what we decide.
At the end of the day it will be decided by those that have a vote,thats those who have decided to make their home in Scotland regardless of their country of birth.
The economics of independence is a factor for many but this is about more than the economics its about the kind of country you want to live in, independence may indeed come at a price but I am sure their are many prepared to pay that price for the right to determine their own affairs.
When those that have a vote cast it next year think long and hard before doing so, whatever the outcome we will have to live with it there will be no going back.

Whilst I live south of the Border I do have Scottish roots. If Scotland could have it's independence without the risks that have been put forward here I'd say vote yes. The reality is that it's a no starter, as many have said North of the border it's a pipe dream, solely driven in the name of the SNP for a place in history.

really, have you seen the size of wee Eck, not feathering a nest ( unless it is reinforced) but he is squirrelling away something. My point is most of them lack the real ability to govern, independence therefore is very high risk.

when do they get to have an independence from Scotland vote then?
You could live in worse places.
The crime and unemployment is very low.

After talking to the farmers wife, where sometimes I stay, she told me they have put the voting age down hoping for the inexperienced youths vote for independence. I was led to believe that the older end do not want it. I wonder how they will cope with the euro I would think they will loose the sterling. This was her views

i think it should stay within uk, but if they get a yes vote and move away it will be a sad day for all that have a brain
how long before the uk has to bail it out !! or has the north got industry hiding away and billions of millions of pounds stashed away 
sorry don't know the scottish word for english pounds! maybe its called a pipe dream. vote no fellers you may not like the taste but it is butter and not lard !
