First cub showed in the last 10 mins of last light, only just noticed it as it went into cover, didnt wait long and it showed again, it was fascinated by a grunter coming towards it, gave me enough time to dial and nuke it,warmed up earlier on a 463yds rabbit ;)

Well done - we had a large cub run across in front of us while we were out rabbiting yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, it made cover too quickly for a shot. The adult that was in with the lambs last night wasn't so lucky though!

old foxes first then the cubs , they wont be far from the earth yet so all youve done is move the problem

I was shooting on a chicken farm this evening - the whole time I was there - about three hours, I could hear cubs fighting in the woods across the valley. I'll have to see if the adjoining landowner would like me to get a bit closer.

we saw a vixen and several cubs last night but grass too long to get one them, they were up against a very thick hedge and wind was all wrong. Mind you no 1 son shot 6 rabbits which was a great start as he never shot off sticks at night before.
