He was also a strong Christian and he didn't like swearing or nudity in films/shows he was in because he wanted things to be family friendly/set a good example. He appeared in one of the Expendables films and apparently had swearing in the script toned down in order to do so.

Apart from seeing memes im the same mate, never had an idea, wasn't even sure he was a real bloke.

I'm currently on final stage of purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, brown belt next. Don't think I'll ever reach black to be honest.

Marital arts - completed it mate!! 😆😆

There was a guy that had a secret affair with my ex before I left her due to her secret drinking problem.
I had met him as her taxi driver before I found out about the affair and he told me he had done his national service in Malaya and stayed on there, married a Chinese Malayan woman and got very deep into the martial arts even competing in Hong Kong way before it was generally known in the UK. They returned to Coventry where a bunch of teds (ask your grandfather) accosted him, he zapped one of them dead, the police did nothing citing a lucky punch. Fast forward to 1977 and he was now running a bouncer business along with his Hinkley taxi day job and he had punched a guy in the gut at the Lafayette ballroom in Wolverhampton who subsequently died, the DPP was considering a prosecution but he walked free from that too as the dead guy was an alky with a very weakened liver.
He later threatened me eye to eye that he would kill me if I did not keep on paying the house mortgage in Hinkley where I had been living with the ex to be. "and you know I can, and I know your address in Wolfsburg" he said to me. I drove back over there and swapped jobs to a Paris one but nobody believed me about my reason for quitting the Wolfsburg job.
The funny ways one gets into the shooting sports eh?
