While we are on the whisk(e)y topic - ss anyone going to the Whisky Show on Sunday? Just seen the list and something like 1100+ drams to choose from to try there.

But the best tasting whisky ive had this year has to be this English number.. easy drinking. smooth. and just good all round.

Again. admitting an English whisky out ranks and Scotch is hard. but it was bloody tasty!!

Once you crack the bottle, throw away the lid because you won’t stop until it’s empty and I’m not a whiskey drinker. I’m a hillbilly bourbon drinker but this I can drink till the cows come home.

I had one of these , absolutely tremendous.

The bottle developed a leak and it’s had to be continuously poured into a small glass as not to be a spill hazard.

She commissioned a Faberge egg & watch set, worth 2.2 million, to celebrate the success of her company...

Then went for a drink to "The Dog & Duck" and left the Faberge egg in her handbag on the floor while she went to the bar to get a pint..
Enzo the Algerian Thief promptly nicked the designer bag, complete with egg, purse, credit cards, keys...
The Egg is still on the missing list, but Enzo has been nicked...
I find it really, really difficult to understand why Rosie didn't just toddle off home when she picked up the egg..
I've always fancied a Faberge egg...
 
Anything Speyside, Glen Garioch is also easy drinking. Depends on how much you want to spend. If you don’t mind a blend then Chivas Royal Salute 21 year old is not bad and comes in a nice terracotta bottle which is nice for presentation, the skinflints don’t do the velvet bag anymore and the box isn’t as nice though haha.
 
Sainted Lady FB bought me this. Very pale and a blend but rather nice. After 3 or 4 it has the unfortunate side effect of me wanting to attack American carriers….

New world whisky is very good, india makes one called amrut, over 50% and smooth as silk.
I think taiwan was the other shock, three years after being allowed to distil starting winning awards
