100% agree with comments about Callum and his work it’s exceptional. His knowledge and advice he gives to any of questions you may have is second to none. 100% genuine bloke who’s work and knowledge speaks for itself 👌🏻

I have had rifle work done elsewhere with reputed smiths, and have concluded that I will simply adopt the old adage "buy once cry once"!
Callum and Pete, (and maybe Russ!) will always get my work from now on.

So, you've used every other rifle smith in the UK and compared the result side by side, hell, you must have a lot of guns!!
 
If i lived in Scotland, i'd use Callum, I have spoken him before, he's a very pleasant guy to talk to and knows his stuff, But for me down here in Englandshire It's Neil Mckillop for me and a great guy who really knows is stuff, and he's only 2 miles down the road. If my rifle isn't shooting straight, its not the rifle but the operator that's the issue.
 
if i was to spend some money on a custom rifle or any jobs on my rifle,s,ronin is my choice he,s a great gunsmith and a great fella no twigs up his ar%* he,s helped alot of of shooters on here, when they have wrote in with a problem they are having with their rifles, he sorted a problem out with one of my rifles, when other gunsmiths said there was nothing wrong with it, i was amazed, so ronin gets my vote all day long bs.
 
I have a barrel on my AI AX done by Callum. What I will say to anyone is he builds to min spec on all threads and chambers. There is no wiggle room. Any dirt has to be kept away. Not sure if I’d like my stalking rifle built to this spec so definitely talk to him about it.

The rifle prints bug holes and if by far my favourite rifle and I have one or two to choose from. It’s not a negative, just one to be aware of.

Callums is a top notch bloke, his work is second to none. Callum has built me three tack drivers. 6..5 Creed, 6BR and a 6 Dasher.
I will pop over to Glenlivet this coming week to ask if he will rebarrel an Anschutz small bore that has lost its edge.

Calum did my Anschutz semi auto many years ago when he was just starting out working in Langholm what a superb accurate rifle it was after he worked his magic
