Not strictly stalking equipment, but looking for a decent 12v compressor to keep in my truck. Any recommendations?

I’ve got a couple of those cheap Ring ones in various cars. Slow but reliable - had them for years but to be honest they only get used very occasionally.

Compressor at home for all thingys blowy…

I've got a hf compressor in my land Rover to do the diff lockers etc, it's a arb copy and they are meant to be great, might be worth a look

I use an Airman Tour compressor for both motorbike and Shogun. The gauge on mine is very accurate. Here's their car/truck version

It wasn’t intended as joke but I guess upon reflection you would need some serious grunt (amps) to drive a compressor that could fill a diver’s breathing air tank.

K
210 bar and the air would not be moisture free so not to be recommended.

tyre wise, I bought a draper one. Think I paid £30 for it. It comes so you can set the tyre pressure and it switches off once it come to it. Works.

Ring RAC900 available on Amazon. Excellent piece of kit. Had one 2 years now and never let me down. Lives in the Polaris with tyre plugs.

Thanks chaps. An HF/ARB compressor would be neat, but overkill for my requirements. RING seem to get the most mention, so will have a look. I have a small one of theirs, but something like the RAC900 looks like its more suitable for me needs.

I have the Milwaukee 12v battery compressor. Brilliant bit of kit. But then I already have Milwaukee tools for all the batteries. Highly recommend though and if you get the 6 APH batteries that's a lot of tyre pumps :)

I know it's not 12v but I have one of the Makita 18v cordless air compressors works quickly and is absolutely brilliant.. portable pumps to decent pressures pretty quicky..
Even use mine for air testing heating systems..
