17hmr recommendations

One .17 HMR rifle I'd recommend over some of those already mentioned is the Sako P04R Finnfire II. You could go with the P04R QUAD with barrels in .22LR, .22WMR, .17 HMR and .17 Mach 2. I have a Sako P94S in .22LR (the predecessor to the P04R) made up into an all-out custom rifle, and, like all Sako rifles I've owned, it is extremely accurate. I think you could get a new P04R with the one .17 HMR barrel for a good price and a lightly-used one for a very good price.

I’m considering having a 17 HMR put on my ticket mainly for rabbit Shooting at night, I have been looking at the anschutz 1517 or the cz457. What is the better gun out of these two? The 1517 is the older model and therefore I would have to buy it secondhand. I presume the barrels are usually quite good in a 17HR and not prone to burning out? If not anschutz do a new model that I’m not as keen on but I would consider.
Finally, I have inputted the data on a ballistics chart and it’s showing me that if I zero at 125yards I should only have half inch either way out to 150yards. Does this seem about right? It seems pretty impressive hence the reason I’m thinking it will be a great tool for the bunnies.
I have an Arnie 1517 17 HMR great rifle bullet on bullet on a still day at 100 yds, I have head shot rabbits out to 140 yds with it

+1 on the T1x in 17Hmr nice little rifle , haven’t used my 17hmr in a while since using the 17 Hornet untill the other night when out shooting hares with thermal I shot two at 80 yrd with hmr then stretched it out and bowled over a hare at 245yrd stone dead ! Super stocked I was and restored my faith in this little calibre indeed it has.
