Great pic, thank you!Not a particularly long shot but the sticks played their part. I’ve had them out once on rabbits and once on deer, and I like them.

Ooohhhh sexySome progress on the carbon fibre version:
Printed prototype geared rod end in carbon filled material and I'm very happy with the fit and finish - very nice material!
The carbon stick kits will have the option to either screw or glue the rod ends into tubes.
I need to order some screws and possibly make a modification to rear V to suit the more compact nature of these.
I'll hopefully have kits ready in 2 weeks for those that have expressed interest.
The carbon tube I'm basing it on is 14mm OD x 12mm ID.

Nothing pauper about those. Much better than the vile flex ones. I had a set in aluminium ( way too expensive for what they are) it was a stretch convincing myself to buy them, I didn’t even consider the composite ones as they were an even bigger rip off. It was more that I wanted to see if they were better than the ones I made for myself over a decade before those ones came out. Anyway, the aluminium ones were cumbersome to open, rattled and clanked at the best of times and freezing cold to hold on a winter stalk. I hated them . Thankfully a friend borrowed them and he said he really liked them so I gave him them and went back to the ones I made from ash and hand sewn leather. Quiet, dont get cold , super light and easy to open with my free hand and are also immune to being stood on or trapped in the back door of the Hilux. Plus, their mud and blood patina makes them super camouflage. My wooden quad sticks are great but they can be noisy and don't allow for any lateral adjustment of rifle to track deer that move.
I've had 4 green b&q garden canes lying around for years since I decided that I needed quad sticks and then promptly bought the wooden ones.
I've mulled over the design for a few weeks in the odd spare moments I've found, ordered some nice fasteners, and finally got the bottom hinge modelled this morning. I then started the 3d printer to do the top cradles and bottom hinge in rubber and returned this afternoon to the completed parts.
I assembled everything, cut the canes to length and glued the rod ends into the canes.
I'm looking forward to testing them out. I'll then do a few tweaks to the design. I can then maybe share the 3d models with anyone that wants to 3d print their own, or sell kits for a modest price.
See the new Pauper-Flex below

Thanks, I've made a note of those that have expressed interest. I'll contact you when I have kits ready, and also post an ad on here. How can we order please!!
That’s clever. Nice job!A small update thanks to some constructive feedback from @Feugh
The yokes aren't very grippy as manufactured. I've been mulling over it for a couple of weeks and thought that I'd try to find suitable rubber tube to solve the problem. I just need to make a template to cut the tube neater and repeatably.
A piece of 20mm ID x 1.5 wall silicone rubber tube works very well for the front yoke.

2x 14mm ID x 1.5mm x 25 long neoprene rubber electric insulation sleeves take care of the back yoke (if desired). I think the 15mm sleeves would actually be an easier fit. I've used these sleeves on the plastic coated metal sticks to make them quiet.

Thanks, I'll get some in the post to you and anyone else that would like some next week. That’s clever. Nice job!
That's an excellent idea with the silicone tubing. I was thinking about a cover like that last night using shrink wrap and cuttingout the underside. I think your way is easier.A small update thanks to some constructive feedback from @Feugh
