Presumably you had a plan for it but frankly small amounts of various brands/loads aren’t worth buying, especially if delivery would have been required. Reselling via the auctioneers, as you mentioned, would be a good way forward.

I will probably being taking lots to Southams for the Autumn sale, if the ammo is still there, as an RFD I could collect it, I think you are 40 minutes from me.

Holts might agree to this, but Southams will not (rule 12).

You could wait for an appraisal event near you & collect both lots?Just had a look, you are out of luck on appraisal events ............... I did a full round trip from Chester down to Reloading Solutions, then across country to Holts & back home before T time, .................. Hereford to Holts Easy Peasy!

Holt's also now won't transport ammunition to appraisal events as it causes issues with vehicle insurance of their representatives who conduct such. Indeed they now no longer even accept ammunition for sale even if you take it to their premises at Wolferton.

They had S1 & S2 ammunition in their April 2026 sealed bid auction, has the policy changed since then?

The last bits and pieces from being cleared through from when they did sell such? I bought one thousand 16 bore x 70mm in their December 2025 sale and although they brought the guns and other items I had purchased to a View Day I had to go to Wolferton to collect the cartridges. They wouldn't bring them and I didn't have an issue with that as it is clearly stated on their website before you place a bid.
