To be honest I recon you'd suffer from condensation dripping all the time. A good double skinned carp bivvy would be better and warmer. Room to make a brew or cook in them store muddy kit and stand up.

Fair comment for summer or a mild spring night but in typical english weather condensation would be a real pain. A flysheet providing an extra insulation layer would help reduce condensation and provide somewhere to put muddy boots etc.

Looks good but for minimal camping have a look at DD hammocks, they are extremely compact, keep you dry and off the ground and a bit cheaper too.

Hennesy Hammocks are used all year round. I use a thermo rest in mine to insulate from cold air on the back. The Snakeskin fly is excellent and can be adjusted to allow ventilation or shut the weather out.

They have been tried before for fishing, didn't work then, won't work now.
Why, well built in china for £25 is the main reason.
With a decent well built frame, adjustable legs and a reclining back with a proper waterproof twin skin outer it would be great.
May even tempt me back in to short session night fishing.

Doesn't look like it would be very comfortable to me and as Hornet 6 rightly said it needs adjustable legs, and if it was fully closed in bad weather I'm sure there would be issues with condensation in such a small area

Ideal to lie in for boar with the end flap open with a sleeping bag on cold winter nights & will keep you up off the snow. Just right with the rifle on bipod overlooking a bait station, but waterproofing is a concern, & build quality, also it's a bit pricey

I used to camp on our ground in Scotland. We used to drive up on a Friday night, get on the ground late, in the dark, and go straight to bed.

I have a quality one man tent (Hilleberg Akto) but used to take a £30 Camo pop up tent from Decathlon. It went up in seconds and if pitched on moss with a Thermarest was very comfortable and warm. I slept in it in heavy rain and well below freezing with no problems. It took up almost no room in the car. The one I had was a two man job, so room for me, kit and a rifle in a case.

The folding tent / bed looks ok, but I'd say there are cheaper options that are more convenient in some circumstances.

A good quality carp bivvy will pack into a smaller space and provide more space/comfort for the money and is just as easy to set up and take down. I do not see any reason to re invent the wheel. Carp anglers have been on the the bank for weeks at a time in comfort for similar money.
Just my opinion, but a good bivvy would be my choice for space and comfort. Hope this helps with your decision.

I've been in the jungles of Brunei with one of these and it was fantastic. Only got slightly wet.

I bought a Smart Tent last year and have used it a few times, undercover though not in the rain. I'm 6ft and has plenty of room. Easy to put up and lies flat in the back of the Disco. You need to make sure you have a decent sleeping bag or blanket on the bottom because I was bloody cold at the Midland as I only took a single quilt.
So far no complaints and I've seen one on a roof rack on a Land Rover!!
