Aim drag bag zip failure RUBBISH

Looking to get the zip replaced in a jacket that I bought from Field and Forces (it was that long ago!). Found one on Ebay, YKK made in Korea. Is it likely to be genuine?

Try LSR for fitting a new zip, they did an excellent job on a ventile smock i had with a big tear.

Thanks! A bit of a jaunt! I have ordered a zip from Ebay and found someone local that sounds a likely person to do the work. Thanks again!

I’ve an arktis one hung in the garage I keep meaning to speak to them about getting it repaired where the zip has trashed the lining inside.
To the OP try LSR they repair outdoor kit, tents and boots so they might be able help.

I've never got round to it and the Mrs has a machine capable of sewing it so I'll have to pour her a big gin then ask her to sort it.

That is a shame, still have loads of their kit, some dating back to the 80s

I was a bit dubious due to the price - but have to say I’m well impressed so far - used it for a number of days now and it seems to be holding up fine.

Am I being daft? I can’t see anything resembling a stag bag in there!

You might try a dive suit maker like apeks or northern diver as my dry suit needed a new zip wasent cheap...
