Air arms customer service

Has anyone had to contact Air arms customer service and if so how do you rate it and their response?

Helpful?

OK?

Terrible?

Would it make you buy another air arms product or run a mile to a competitor?

A couple of years ago now, but I put my AirArms s410k in for a service - quick turnaround, full itemised list of what had been done, data sheet of shot velocity, etc. Couldn't fault them.

Shortly after, I put my FAC Daystate Huntsman in for a service. Excruciatingly slow, zero comms, no paperwork at all came back with it.

I decided there and then that the appalling customer service from Daystate was enough to ensure that I would NEVER buy another Daystate. Ever.

I would however buy another AirArms at the drop of a hat.

Chalk. Cheese.

Hi

I had need to contact them re a leak from the fill probe/whip connection and ordered a 510 service kit - offered some suggestions within a couple of days and kit arrived prompt....... so would use them again.

Very good service when I needed some seals for my S200 I think they sent them me FOC but it was many years ago.
Daystate are nigh on impossible to contact and you need to go through a dealer.
Last month the cocking bolt screw on my LR90FTR sheared off. Couldn't get a replacement. However resorted to directly e mailing them and to.my surprise it was dealt with by a director. Part sourced and supplied within a week. Cost £13 for a m4 bolt however took about 1 min to fit and all good
Previous had lasted 25 years so not too bad.
So I was very pleased with my dealings with Daystate.
