Do not grind antler when you want to break is up , the fine dust is not seen is a pretty big carcinogen

Surely this is easily dealt with by using a mask and doing it outdoors?

I don’t see why an angle grinder would necessarily be such a disaster?

This is an area where I have some small expertise. If one were to use an angle grinder it had best be equipped with a wetting down system. It is imperative that the superfine free floating particles are removed from the atmosphere. The masks are largely window dressing though I would still advocate wearing a properly fitting, clean, disposable one (FFP3). It is the microscopic particulate matter that is the big hazard, it can get right down into the alveoli. Not a pretty picture. Best of luck.
