Antler walking stick

I made this roughly 7 years ago, for my late father in law. It lives with the mother in law in Scotland, everytime I come up (here now) I see it and think I wish I needed a walking stick, hopefully it will last until then.

It's a hazel stick and fallow antler fixed on with threaded bar, (probably technically badly made) but it's still going, and I find it ergonomically and aesthetically pleasing.

Anyone else made one just for the sake of it!

Thanks, I'm hoping one day I'll have time to make a few more, just for the pleasure of making things.

been to make a stick or two myself , you did that somewhat different using the curve, nowt wrong with a bit of all-thread done well its a very strong connection !
