Been noticing lots of surnames on the news & other progs, matching the subject in play, this morning's, a marine biologist, surname Rudd.
Anyone else noticed other instances?

In days of interminable chain delays on house sales Doolittle and Dalley the estate agents in Kidderminster was pretty apt.

Go back a few years and many surnames were trade based...Thatcher, Smith, Hunter, Merchant, Weaver, Miller, Fletcher, Workman, Herdman, Shepherd, Baker, and etc. bound to be a throwback to ancestral activities occasionally...Though given the celibacy lack of issue, Priest always made me wonder.
