Are Blasers the most overated rifle?

Hi all

Appreciate im new here. Been following the forum for a while and the snobbery that goes with blasers is unbeleivable. People seem to hold them up on a pedastal. But from all i can see is that they are over priced under engineered rifles. Most of the people that own them top them with the top end swaros and shot 1 or 2 deer a year anyway. Any stalker worth his salt will have a sako over a Blaser. Fact!

Cheers rick

The kruger dunning is strong within you.

Might I suggest that you broaden the discussion to include, BASC, head shots and ballistic tips to name but a few topics before admin close this thread down as serving no useful purpose?

Add shooting sika stags with a sako 223 with night vision in someones rose garden and calling it stalking.

Ive not been able to get out fishing for a while so thought id go fishing for bites on the forum instead thanks everyone youve been great. Whiled away my evening nicely

Well to answer your question seriously. All Blaser owners are gay. It is a secret way of letting other Blaser owners also know discreetly. Although to be honest I thing stalking in a pink tutu sort of gives the game away. But hey, tutu's can be cofortable in the right environment.

Sako owners on the other hand are into beastiality. They can't afford real women.:D

You forgot to mention bow hunting. I wonder if the OP has any views on that......?

Jeeeeese

just had to check the calendar, thought it was April 1st

thought I'd lost another month out of my life in a matter of 12 days

so pleased I checked the calendar

fallow are are still in season - better get the other blaser out when I get home from work.:rofl: And get amongst em

Loving this thread .
The OP is the Steve Irwin of the forum ! Why leave something in peace , when you can pick it up ,annoy it and shove a stick up its butt ?
Happy days. :stir:

I own a blaser R8 with .270 and .308 barrels.
I an not gay, nor am I rich.

Although I could buy a T3 for the price of another barrel that would mean 2 rifles to carry and take space. Ah and realised that I could have bought a Howa for the price of a blaser scope mount.

I like the simplicity of the R8 and how easy it is to clean.
I like the fact that I can shoot 2 calibres but the stock fit and trigger is the same.
I did look for other manufacturers as Blaser was out of my price range but as many people say " cry once"

I can't fault it in terms of accuracy and I know there are rifles out there 1/4 of the price offering maybe same accuracy.

It didn't end well for him when he tried that on a stingray.

I shoot with a Blaser owner and he assures me hes not gay but his husband is !!

I own a sako m995 in 7x64 and a r8 thumbhole in 243/65x55 the blaser is the one I usually take out a lot easier to handle more compact and lighter and deadly accuracy with most makes of ammo, And no I am not a armchair stalker my rifle gets a lot of use it has never let me down yet or the r93 I had before that

Not this again. I know it's in jest and no offence is meant but this is an open forum. You wouldn't say all Sako owners are black, all tikka owners are Muslim, or all Remington owners have Down's Syndrome.
You wouldn't say those things because those people can't prevent it or, in the case of religion, made a choice.
Using gay as a little insult to score points off your mates is just immature.
This isn't aimed solely at you SS, people say it all the time, sorry you're getting the brunt of it.

I'm a Blaser owner and very gay - gay being used in the old fashioned sense of the word as in very happy !!
I picked up on what somebody else said about being accurate with a broad spectrum of makes of ammo.
I have found this to be true and it is very frustrating when trying different brands and even some of my home loads as they are all accurate at 1" high at 100 yards.
That isn't to say that they will all be accurate at further distances beyond 200 yards but then I have never been required to shoot further than that (at quarry).
