Atacr 4-16x42

Is anyone using one of these or the 4-16x50 for stalking and if so what are their thoughts on it. I keep looking at the reviews but don’t know anyone who has one to have a peek through

I don't have an Atacr but I have an NX8 and SHV F1. Both great scopes that can take a knock but when you're getting into Atacr money there may be better options for less. C-does has a good review of the 4-16 Atacr on YouTube that is worth a look. The only real downside he hinted at was seeing a lot of the scope body, a common nightforce problem and one that is very prominent with the SHV line.

Long story short no hands on experience of the scope but from all reviews it seems a solid option with good glass. I also like the nightforce reticles and they all scale very well in ffp. The reason I don't have an Atacr is because for the money there are probably better options. The new Delta 3-21 might be worth a look and would save you £1000....

His most recent video compares the Atacr to a leupold Mark 5. I think of the two the Atacr looks the better plus nightforce scopes are bullet proof, my SHV F1 has been through the wars and has never missed a beat
