Help please!

This morning my k5 collar has lost gps reception it was working fine at the start, then turned off the handheld as I always do turned it back on to follow the dog and it said the "collar had lost gps reception". The handheld works fine and I have coms with the collar (checked by using the tone function).

All the online searching I've done brings up references to a T5 collar. Is this just the American designation for what we know as the K5 collar? As they look the same when looking at them.

Contact the company you bought it from and let them sort it.

That will be the next step if I can't sort it... having my gwp bugger off after a runner with no tracker wouldn't be ideal while waiting for them to sort it if I can self help!

Sometimes you need to go through the process as if you are going to add a new collar

I had a new K5 collar fail on me after about 5 months, GWP was running up the field and hand set said lost com’s. Tried all the reset options, in the end I had to send it back to supplier who then sent it to Garmin who did replace it with no issues, took about 3 weeks though.

Mines away back to the guy I got it from, its still under warranty but just having to wait for a replacement.
