For those of us who receive it, your thoughts on the foreword from the Chair Eoghan Cameron.
I was thinking maybe a little insulated, where I am more leaning towards a little under siege.

The usual undertone of snobbery and elitism that is sadly a feature of many of the articles in that magazine.
A pity, as the foreword explored a nice subject, but was spoiled by a few ill-considered phrases.

I can see what you mean. The last two lines; since 1908 BASC and her members have kept public opinion neutral. Keeping it that way is the ultimate legacy to future generations. As a member of BASC myself, I would hope the organisation did more than just try to keep the public opinion neutral? And as an organisation that should be a sector lobbyist, I would’ve thought the intention of BASC should be to bring more of the public opinion into the positive space regards the activities our membership undertakes?

Like BASC by and large but wont read that after they would not publish my mentors obituary - a man that brought more people into shooting and conservation than anyone i have ever met - just in case "someone important passes"

Not at all impressed by BASC in terms of deerstalking opportunities from a Scotland based perspective.

What’s the chance of an active scheme for 2025?
