Barnes 130 GR TTSX Loading 270 Win

Starting to load the Barnes TTSX 130 in 270 win and interested to know what powders people are using?
Currently use RL 22 in my .270 for Nosler Partitions in 130 but Barnes suggest RL 19.
Anyone else using RL 22 for the TTSX or other easily available powder in the UK? RS62?

I’ve never had a lot of luck with r/l 19 so I would opt for r/l22 even though it isn’t listed??the nosier e tip info below lists r/l 22 for 130’s so surely the ttsx will be similar??as per start low and work up and i can’t see why it won’t be ok?? I’m going to try the etip though.

Yes. I load RL under 130 partitions now, but the TTSX are a ‘lot’ longer than the partitions and appear to like jump so wondering if there is space for the RL 22? Thanks.

Think there’s not much difference in length between etip and ttsx as they are both non toxic

I now use n160 for 130 fox left picture but the r22 on the right is just as good

1.322 for ttsx snd 1.323 for etip bullet length so r/l 22 should be fine as the Barnes is just shorter

The Partition is 1.129 so a bit shorter, have a Quikload for it done for a mate so will give it a go and hopefully get enough powder in to get it going over 3000!! Thanks.

Worked up a very accurate load for 130gr TTSX using Vhit 560…
Tried RL19 but needed compressed to get the MV I was after.

I have worked up a few loads for 3 different rifles for Barnes 130 TTSX. Re19 worked well for one. Re17 in another. Both around 3070fps. I used N560 in my 270 for the 129gn LRX, it was more accurate than Re17 and is giving me 3180fps.

I was running the 130gr with rs60 at 55gr and my rifle loves it, but due to availability I can't get any more, I don't suppose you could run N160 through quick load if you have a couple of free minutes and find a max load for the 130gr ttsx with N160 at 3.25 OAL please?

I use rs62 53.5gr load also r19 when I can get it
