Beretta BRX1 any one tried it?

On my last Africa trip I borrowed the PH’s new .308. I thought it was super accurate but the bolt was sticky to cycle on a second shot. Possibly cheap South African ammo, but the difficulty cycling it put me off.

Re Balance. Remember the BRX1 is designed for European hunters where a lot of the time they will shooting offhand at close range at moving game.

Most of us in the UK are used to rifles with lots of weight forward which makes for a very steady rifle that shoots well off a rest / bipod. And most of those writing reviews are of this opinion as well.

And they have just the one action length that takes all cartridges. So bolt throw will be like any long action rifle. For that matter any Blaser R93 or R8 also has an action length that will handle any long action cartridge.
But the Blaser have a stop for short magazines, short action..

Has a look at Beretta BRX1 straight pull today as an easy way of getting a left handed rifle reasonably easily.

Have looked at various on line reviews and am not convinced. The balance seems odd and the bolt travel seems long.

Anyone tried one/have one? Are they any good? TIA
I've tried 1
My pal(who's on here too) had 1.
Very accurate & overall nice rifle.
He had a issue with the safety though in his first season 😳

Had 1..... Very accurate..bolt cycle is brilliant...fast...not too heavy...No point cold bore shift.....One of the most consistently accurate rifles I've had.. Unfortunately bolt assembly failed and had to return..

I have one in 6.5 creedmoor. Action is super slick and is v accurate .Ive had zero issues with mine
The balance is great for me.
