Bergara owners….advice please….Mounting a S&B 56mm to a B14HMR….

Hey folks, I’ve been on the lookout for a nice zoomable 56mm scope for mounting to my 308 B14 HMR

Whilst searching I’ve had an 8x56 illuminated S&B kinda fall into my lap. I’m gonna give this scope a go even though it’s not my preference for this rifle.

I currently have a 3-9x50 Leupold VXR sat in Leupold rings. It sits nice and low in relation to the action and I would like to use the standard bases again if possible. Which rings and what height are you all using to get this traditional style mount with 56mm objective scopes,

Outer Diameter of the 8x56 is 62mm near as damn it

I want to say Leupold mediums but in truth I’ve had them so long I can’t remember

They were on my 243 b4 the NV swap

Sorry for posting into an older thread but looks like they’ve made an update (or I’d previously found a different calculator). This one now has options to choose your scope make and model, mounts etc. so you don’t need to measure, if yours are in the list. Really handy.

HI, tbo its not a new option, however it only covers a few scope manufacturer, so I didn’t mention it
