Bergara single shot

Yes it would, i don't think going any shorter would be sensible, i think the bergara is looking the better option at the minute
I more meant that going with a BA13 would give you a shorter overall rifle, for any given barrel length.
So a 20" BA13 would, I think, be nearly 3" shorter than an 18" barrel T3 :thumb:

Yes i reckon that's why he's pushing them, what scope do you have on your bergara ?
Weaver 3-10 x 44. 40/44 series. I also removed the Bergara rail and fitted a Durasight one piece ‘dead on’ mount, no point spoiling a short neat rifle with a big scope and bulky mounts.

I will probably leave the bergara rail on, as want to use a photon on it also,

Zeroed it in with some cheap ppu fmj ammo, about 1" group, just shooting out of my truck window so not an overly good rest, put 3 Norma 40 gr vmax through it, and to say i'm delighted is an understatement ! 20191129_153921.webp

Nice. What is the trigger like and what is the safety arrangement?
Trigger is a little on the heavy side if anything, but still very usable, not put a scale on it , but i would say 3-4 lb, there is no safety catch on it , but as it's a hammer action there isn't really any need, you can carry it with a round in the chamber , and cock the hammer just before firing, there is a failsafe built into it that if you slip the hammer whilst cocking it won't fire, has to be cocked back fully and trigger pulled to fire, i actually think i'll feel safer carrying this than my sako 75, just off out to try and zero in my photon on it,20191201_144558-1.webp
