What is the best available powder for 6.5 Creedmoor for ELD 140 gr?

ELD-M?? I use the 140gr with 42.5gr N555. A mate is testing Superperformance for a bit more speed out the barrel. Should say that’s in PRS rifles so not average stalking.

Dunno about 140's but I run V555 for 120gr and get single figure sd's. FWIW

For what it’s worth VhitavourI don’t have any loads on their table for N140 at any weight above 139gr.
Take that for what it’s worth. I email over 12 months ago asking for load date on Hornady 140 ELD Mand never received a reply. Not that I’ve ever used them.

I’m using v n555 with hornady eld x 143gr with accurate results , ram shot hunter worked well for me too with 140gr soft points

Hornady eld x 143gr , 41.2gr N555 , col 2.800” , 5 shot group from squeaky clean barrel

Availability will depend on your locality I suppose. I started off with Ramshot Hunter with 143 ELD-X which was very good for velocity and accuracy.

When that ran out I moved to RS60 which gives much better velocity but no doubt added barrel wear (not such an issue for stalking) and that was with 120 ELD-M and 143 ELD-X.

I was using N555 under Berger 130VLD, great combo. I have heard a few tales of N555 not giving great velocity with the heavier end of the Creedmoor spectrum of bullets. I also had great results with N150 under 114gr Yew Tree.

That is what I use as well because I can get it easily. It gives 2600fps with 143g ELDx so that is good enough for me. Probably more suitable powders out there but it's accurate enough without being amazing

OP asked about Hornady ELDM and N140.

I used the Vihtavuori App.

N140 has NO data past 139gr until 156gr Norma. ok

I’m loading RS62. Suspect it’s around 2730 from a 20” barrel and 44.2g, drop test to 300yds suggest this.
Not really fussed on checking MV, it goes in one side and out the other with 130g Accubond with superb accuracy.
