I dont reload my own ammunition and buy factory sako blades or Norma. My question is are the empty brasses worth keeping to sell on? I have been saving them up. Also 223 brasses? Ta in advance

Yes they are
calibre will determine how much you get, for 308 based cases, I think about £30 for 100.
223 maybe £25 for 100.
Both males are decent quality as you’re aware after shooting them, so I think you’ll sell them.

Others may advise different, have a look in the reloading sub section in sails.

I think you mean brass, brasses are something very different to some of us

Keep them sorted by lots (not just brand). This is the only way they‘re of any use to reloaders.
You can also sell them as scrap metal. A 20L bucket full will fetch around 50 pounds.

besides target shooters mixing once fired brass in the same brand is not a worthwhile thing . i would happilly buy for stalking but only in quality , quantity and single brand brand
anything less than 100 the same brand and caliber forget it and if you have a max tollerance chamber and the buyer has a minium - they wont generally size to fit correctly

Personally I will only ever buy new brass in sealed packets / packets, or use brass from ammunition that I have bought. I would perhaps use brass from a close friend where I knew it was once fired.

I would never use second hand “once fired” brass bought from somebody I don’t know well as you have really very little clue if it is once fired or has been through several firings, the case has stretched and its thin at the head and will let go on the next firing. I may be overly cautious but I don’t think it is worth taking the risk for the sake of a few quid.

It is however well worth saving your brass till you do start reloading your own cartridges.
