Browning 525 firing pins

Hi I have a Browning 525 and the bottom barrel has stopped working due to firing pin.
I have looked everywhere for replacement pins, does anybody know where I can get them from.

Any Browning dealer should have them or be able to get, very common failure in them and Mirooks. Alternatively a decent gunsmith will make them.

Has it broken or just swelled from the hammer?
If the latter it may just need grinding back.

Broken its come forward tilt gun back and it slides back

Don’t they always do that? I thought the bottom barrel on a 525 not firing was one of their weaknesses as the gas bleeds through the pin hole into the action and cokes up the seat where the pin sits! Possibly just needs stripped and cleaned? Worth a shot before forking out!

If it needs a new striker replace the main spring at the same time. It’s a fault in the design but very easily replaced.
