Good Morning Gents,
I'm after some advice from those in the know... my situation is that I have a 12 Gauge Browning 525 sporting O/U shotgun with firing pin issues.
The firing pins (on factory pins) were pitted quite badly, so I looked into replacing the firing pins. Some internet search showed this is a well understood issue. While in Krakow I managed to pick some genuine firing pins up and it was simple enough to replace, but these pitted rather quickly too.
I then bought some JNP custom firings pins from the USA, as I read these were more resilient to pitting. These seem to be worse and now piercing the back of primer caps on the carts.
I'm now stuck - has anyone got any advice on what to do? I just want firings pins that don't pit and pierce.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks,
Rob
