Evening all,
As my FAC ticket gets fuller month on month since the issue dare even though I purchased a 6 gun cabinet for my (6) I find that with 20MOA rails and large scopes I was struggling to fit it all in using the standard piece of foam used to space it all out - particularly on those with large scopes (have to have the rifle scope facing out towards the door and rifle just wants to fall out of the cabinet).
Iknow a lot of you Will probably say just throw them in they don’t need to be spaced out evenly - but I’m OCD and can’t do it!!
After a quick search on the internet I found no actual product to solve it that would do it singularly I.e. you can just “unlock” the rifle you want to take out leaving the rest all secure in the cabinet.
Working in engineering and having access to 3D printers I decided to make something quick and dirty that would allow me to best utilise my cabinet space and allow for rifles to be stored scope in and scope out and also vary the pitch and height to account for all the barrel lengths.
And I have to say its working a treat- even included a muzzle brake depression so I can store the rifle specific brake!
How do other members store inside the cabinet?
