Change of primers

Hi,
I knew I was getting short of CCI large rifle primers, but after prepping my brass I've discovered I only have 17 CCI primers left.

I bought 500 magtech primers a while back when primers were hard to come by.

Am I likely to notice a difference in my accuracy by swapping to the magtechs?

Should I expect to work up a load again with them?

Would I be safe enough to reload with the same powder charge weight as I usually use and fire a few test rounds?

The rounds in question are 58gr v max in .243 with 41.8gr N140.

Thanks

I’ve had problems with one batch of magtecs but the other has been perfect thus far.
In 7-08, 150 grain eldx and n550 I get about 40fps less with cci than magtec.

What velocity are you getting with the 7mm-08 and what's your charge weight?
I'm just looking at working up a load for mine with the 150gr ELDX too

I used all my CCI as well, now have a couple of 000, Magtec shot maybe 250 upto naw and had 2 rtf with my 6.5 CM.

The strange this, I have had the same failure rate on my 6.5 Creedmoore LRP and .223 REM SRP
