Converting a drinks chiller

Made a hanging bar from a section of broken builders ladder so it fits on the top shelf moulding and switched it on...
been going 8 years...

I think most of us have used the Tenderum Fridge Converter Kits but I see they are out of stock with Bushwear and on Amazon, in their absence get some steel tube like above and the right size drill borer bit for it and these Tenderum Fridge Vents - Pack of 4
Be careful to check first that the refrigeration parts of the unit are in the top - not the side before drilling into them!

Whatever you do, don’t put vents in the side! Humidity outside is generally much higher than inside a running fridge so completely pointless!! You want to keep the humidity low in there not high. Im sure our resident refrigeration engineer @sikadog will be along shortly to confirm. Fan is a good idea though.

You don’t need to drill into the sides of the unit. I would really recommend using an internal arrangement from scrap metal parts such as a ladder. This doesn’t compromise the fridge walls and is easier to take out and clean if it gets mucky. Honestly it’s well worth the extra effort.

Not necessarily, although I’ll grant you it’s more of a pain if your chiller does have bare walls.
I have an ex-newsagent Coca Cola fridge and use the little (surprisingly strong) clips where the shelves used to fit with an added cross bar. The whole thing comes out and goes straight in to the dishwasher after each use.
Obviously depending on the exact type of fridge you may have no choice other than to drill into it, but I’d recommend a look at some of the prior threads on here first to weigh up alternatives first.
a bit of ingenuity and no hassle, i have seen timber used, metal frames, the two lug shelf system frames from B&Q all easily do able

Yes, it's doable no question. Cuts down on your available space though. Guess it depends on what suits you best

You don’t need to be, drilled mine to put the Bushwear rail in. No problems at all.
@Jools How does it do for fallow? Do you have the details of the clothes rails?
My Pepsi fridge came with shelving rack rails up both sides. I merely fitted the clip supports, added a bar between them and bridge the span of the fridge with a sleeved bar to add strength. On previous tall fridges, I’ve done something similar creating a support arrangement that fits the fridge’s normal shelf rails.
