I like this new site, banning idiots is easier and more fun. It even tells you under their Avitar that they are banned !!!

Does that mean my last post to Vim was wasted? I see Hunter V is banned.

Yep thats right you wasted your last post Tahr, sorry mate. Try as they like we will ban them straight away, they are so obvious its sad really. Only now it shows they have been banned, great aint it.

Custom Rifle builders - just bear in mind there are numerous in the UK, speak to a few and form your opinion of who you are dealing with. Reputation / recommendations goe a long way.

I would be happy to use anyone mentioned previously in the thread for my own builds - shame I dont have to

It's great that there are so many good riflesmiths in the UK. Good that we can match, of not surpass, the quality 'smiths in the US and elsewhere.

Nothing wrong in hobby riflesmiths; we all have to start somewhere.

I think the idea of being 'time served' isn't necessarily good, it could be time served doing a rubbish job, I'd much rather go on personal recommendation and seeing the work. I'd look for their attention to detail. I'd apply the same principle to other areas other than gunsmiths (tradesmen for example )
