Dedicated PRS rifle ?

Binned PRS, Due to the many comments on the lithe body requirements, sticking to long range steel.
I don't know who made those comments.. a few of the best PRS shooters in the UK don't have a very good BC shall we say. I include myself in that (not the best bit 😆)

Should always give something a go yourself!

A bit more detail work, lugs lapped, trued bolt face, & opened to magnum, barrel profile turned. (Le' Long Carabine):D

Anschutz does a factory PRS rifle based on their 1782 platform. It’s in an MDT chassis and available in 6 Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .308. Might want to check it out if you’re looking at a factory option as opposed to building your own.

There's also some models from Savage, and you should be able to get them through Brownells Europe (at least you can get them through Brownells in some countries in the continent). Savage brings user replaceable prefit barrels to the table, although I've understood that this doesn't work in UK (buying US prefit and fitting it yourself).

Especially under IPRF rules (vs. PRS) factory rifles using certain stocks are dominating if you look at what they offer. Price is not over the top (well might be with Anschutz) and you get a rifle that is competitive in Factory, Limited and Open (with barrel changes, that are allowed with certain limitations).
