Deer Sled/drag sled/slee sled

Does anyone with the JS1 trailer have one handy (i.e. not on their ground up in scotland)? @NickJ maybe? I could do with some dimensions. They are out of stock with Glade plus I have enough bits (including some quad wheels / stub axles) in the workshop that I could knock one up over the weekend.

Mine's up on my ground in Scotland, next up in a fortnight

Has anyone tried fitting aluminium runners (maybe doorway threshold strips) to a plasterers bath? Something to help it slide with a bit less resistance?

I've found the bath attached to a rucksack with a good waist strap makes things a lot easier but a 50kg fallow or more does create a lot of resistance. My drag is between 1km and 1.5km so it's quite the leg burner.
I was thinking of putting aluminium runners on mine

Cheers, but not to worry. I was going to cobble something together as interim until I could get the bespoke one but had a rethink. I’ll update this thread when I get a minute with the welder.

I’m not sure it would make any difference tbh as they are so thin. If you were on a hard, flat surface then maybe but the runners are just going to sink in to soft ground so it’ll run on a plastic bottom as much as the runners and I doubt you’d feel any difference.
