Just a heads up for Derbyshire Firearms licensing .My certificates have just been delivered by the FLO 7 weeks early.Outstanding service by any standards.

Agreed, always spot on. Variations usually within the week, very friendly and professional at my last renewal (which included humane dispatch and pistols so not run of the mill).

Had mine renewed fairly recently. Super quick and efficient service….really could not fault them.

And this is why, I am in Leicestershire, I do not support these calls by some for a national licencing authority. If your force area is poor, inefficient, tardy, then complain to your force's PCC and don't seek by calling for a national system to burden those of us in areas where the process is done efficiently with a national body that would likely be a levelling down of standards and not a raising up....and no longer locally accountable. Because that local accountability will be lost. I think maybe our Scotland based SD Members might wish to comment?

Alas the past PCC for Northamptonshire was totally ineffective.
