There is a simple formula for this.
Number of guns required = n+1.
Where n is the number of guns you own.
Can’t give them away these days but everyone still thinks theirs is worth a fortune when it’s time to shift them on!I would expect no less from an RFDhowever haven had pistols and semi auto rifles taken away by the government and seen second hand values drop quite a lot, I am far more cautious these days as to what I own and the quantity, age also plays apart in what one owns.
Do tell. Send me some details via private message. Not to hijack but my .223 will probably be coming up for sale soon...1:8 twist
I added a 223 rem in the form of a sako 75 a couple of years back . Second hand , bedded it in pillars . it works fine with 60 grain Nosler Part and 50 grain copper ttsx . to be recomemded and it didn't make much of a dent in the bank ballance . easy to carry as the action is made for 223 actionI've got a 22250 varmint which is excellent. Thinking a lighter weight 223 with a fast twist barrel would be a nice thing. I walk a good way with my 22250 and it's a heavy lump but super accurate, but thinking a shorter barrel will be nicer to walk a long way with and be suitable for copper bullets for small deer, Id mainly be shooting foxes tho. Any thoughts?
It’ll be 1:9 or 1:8, not sure I recall ever seeing a 10 twist .223.Well the postman has arrived with my ticket with a 223 slot on it. Think it’s soon shopping time. 20 inch sporter barrel with a 1 in 10 twist is my minimum requirements.
As @25 Sharps says, your choice is probably 1:12 or 1:8 rather than 1:10. I went for a 1:8 Tikka. Good choice of heavier bullets and you can still shoot lighter bullets too.Well the postman has arrived with my ticket with a 223 slot on it.
